Manchester United have found alternative to £100m transfer target

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer knows has revealed he needs two things this summer if he is to have any chance of progressing Manchester United into genuine Premier League title challengers.

The first of those is well underway with player recruitment a priority as Solskjaer looks to classify pick world-class talent players to fine-tune an already impressive squad.

Jadon Sancho is an unofficial unveiled away from his United home coming arrival, while Raphael Varane is expecting to be announced this month.. It's looking like that first task will successfully be achieved.

The second task is to develop tactically with the United managerial team keen to fit in his side's immense attacking strength and play to their quality rather than look to protect their weaknesses on and inside the field .

As such the dream is to become more tactical in midfield with the desire to have one partnership-minded specialist at the base, rather than the safety net of a duo he rest upon last season.

It means there could be a minor tactically for Serbian midfield Nemanja Matic as the expert in such a role, though it is clear to add more reinforcement to help the lads is needed in the long-term.
